Your everyday laundry is weighed at the counter, then washed, dried and folded for you — and returned in a sealed bag, socks and underwear packed separately.
No machines to wait for
You drop it off. We hand it back wrapped.
This isn't a self-service laundromat: you leave your clothes with us and carry on with your day.

Laundry is weighed; dry cleaning, ironing and alterations are counted by the piece. You keep your half of the ticket.

We take care of it
Washed, dried and folded — or dry-cleaned, pressed, mended. With products gentler on the fabric and on the environment.
- STEP3
Pick it up wrapped
Left in the morning, laundry is often ready that afternoon; otherwise the next morning. Ask when you drop off.

Between Marquês and Saldanha
At the counter, a couple.
Lavandaria da Sílvia is a neighbourhood laundry and dry cleaner on Rua do Conde de Redondo. The counter is run by a husband and wife — clients call them lovely, careful and easy to work with.
Neighbours bring their coats, shirts and hems. Travellers and expats staying around Marquês and Saldanha drop off a week of laundry in the morning and collect it clean, folded and sealed — in Portuguese or in English.
We use products that are gentler on clothes and on the environment. Clients notice it where it counts: the clothes come back soft and smelling clean.
